I got my fiance's (now wife's) engagement ring from Washington Diamond. I got to discuss with Tom D. and was highly impressed by his trustworthiness and honesty. I knew little about diamonds and found that he seeks to educate and help you make the best purchase without trying to be pushy at all. He spent a lot of time with me looking at individual diamonds. He is both professional and personal. I also checked out some other more radio- and TV famous jewelry establishments in the DC area, but I loved Washington Diamond the best for its homey family oriented feel and came back to make my purchase.  

I did not know what setting my fiancee would like, so Tom suggested we get a temporary band. After my proposal, my fiance came back and we purchased the setting she liked with the diamond I got beforehand. She has gotten endless compliments on it (especially on how sparkly and shiny her ring was), and I couldn't be prouder. 

For our wedding a few weeks ago, we really could go to no other place but Washington Diamond to get our wedding bands because we know we could find the right style and fair price for our purchase. We again got wonderful service from Tom and love our wedding bands. Washington Diamond also helped clean my wife's engagement ring and helped polish it, which is a wonderful service they offer for all purchases made from them. 

We highly highly recommend Washington Diamond and will tell our friends, coworkers to go there for great service. People say that you have to know the 4 Cs (Cut, Clarity, Color, Carat) as you look into purchasing a diamond. Perhaps more important, I would add Character and Courteousness of the people you deal with, and Washington Diamond has both of those.  Alex T.  10/25/10

My fiancé and I just purchased our wedding bands at Washington Diamond.  From the outset, it was a great experience.  We worked with Walter, who had previously sold me the engagement ring.  He knows his stuff, is patient (when you are working with people trying on lots of rings that's important) and all around great to work with.  

Washington Diamond has excellent jewelry at a great price and is convenient to get to.  I come from a long line of referrals to Washington Diamond and did my homework (shopped around) before I went.  You won't be disappointed.  My fiancé is thrilled with her engagement ring and has received many compliments.  Once we add the wedding band in a couple of months it will look even better.  Jason T 10/20/10

My engagement ring is an oval diamond in a bezel setting designed by Washington Diamond. The compliments I get on it are amazing and non-stop. And the appraiser was very impressed with the quality of workmanship as well as the diamonds. Then, to make it even more amazing, WD designed a custom wedding band to suit the way I like to wear my rings that still looks like the two are a matched set. We also got my husband's plain platinum band from WD. The service has always been wonderful, and their staff is warm and very helpful when you have questions. Hi Tom, I'm sorry I did not get back to you earlier to convey the news of how my engagement to Melanie went. However Melanie was very elated when I proposed and her eyes exploded with delight when I presented the enegagement ring to her aboard our sailboat on the Annapolis bay in October. She still cant get over how beautiful it is and I doubt never will!!
